Fnepsa's representatives since 2018

National President: Michel Vanvincq

Michel Vanvincq joined Fnepsa in 1995 and has been its President since 2018. He specializes in 18th century furniture and art objects, antique and second-hand jewelry, gemology and jewelry. Originally from Toulouse, he started his career at 18 years old with the opening of his first gallery. For 15 years, he has been based in Bayonne. Today, he collaborates with insurance companies of national dimension which solicit him for expertises before or after disasters. He masters particularly well all the stages confronting individuals, brokers and insurance agents.

National Vice President: Olivier Delvaille

Olivier Delvaille has been signing expertise certificates for 25 years. He joined the Fnepsa in 2006. His specialties are 18th century French furniture and French painting from 1850 to 1930. As Secretary General, he actively represents our federation at the CEDEA, the European Chamber of Art Experts, the organization that gathers the different federations of experts in Europe, totaling more than 480 members. He participates as co-organizer of the "David de l'Expertise", a prize that rewards personalities, writers and museum curators who work to promote the art market. He is the author of a game on painting, "Expos", which has received several awards.

National Treasurer: Claude Vilars

Claude Vilars is an expert contacted by insurance companies in case of claims. Private individuals also call upon him for the appraisal of their works of art and collectors' items. His field of expertise is French furniture and also popular art. "Learning, more than a necessity, a need" is his motto. He has been a lecturer at the University of Caen and Rouen. For several years, he has been giving private courses in antiquities from the Roman era to the 1940s in Conches-en-Ouche in the Normandy region. He joined the Fnepsa in 1988 and has been its national treasurer for over 20 years.

National Secretary: Isabelle Scappazzoni

After joining Fnepsa in 2009, Isabelle Scappazzoni is the national secretary since 2018. She has worked for 15 years in the workshops of the National Library of France and the National Archives. She holds a Master II degree in conservation-restoration of cultural goods from the University of Paris I-Sorbonne and is accredited by the Museums of France. She is an expert technician in ancient and modern books. Her workshop welcomes books and graphic documents that require conservation or restoration of heritage. Numerous institutions such as the Archives of the Elysée Palace or large libraries call upon her skills. She is also called upon by insurance companies for claims, and by private individuals for advice on acquisitions. Passionate about her work, she regularly improves her skills through continuing education. Since 2000, she has participated in the Salon international du livre rare et des experts en objets d'art, a true mark of respectability.
